I hate all of the stereotypes behind greek life. I get asked the most annoying questions by my non greek friends… Or my 2nd favorite is: “What is it like to be hazed?” It is hard to explain that not every sorority or fraternity adheres to greek stereotypes. Then they look at you like you have no idea what you are talking about. Some houses do value sisterhood and respecting its members, sorry you base your impressions off of what your hazed and required-to-party greek friends say about greek life because it reinforces what you already believe to be true. according to this i’m sunk in the pacific ocean right now :(
so i had an idea…
we did a t-shirt swap at region x weekend and it was so fun to see and have the chance of getting cute shirts from other chapters… and i know there were some shirts i would have LOVED to get (like gamma lambda’s definitely dz shirt or pi kappa’s pink and gold shirt.. sooo cute!) so i’m thinking, why not do it with chapters from all over instead of just our region?? so my question… would anyone be interested in doing a t-shirt swap? like we could have a facebook or tumblr group or something and post pics of the shirts we are willing to swap and then swap through the mail (it shouldn’t be too expensive to ship a t-shirt in the US… i’m not sure about canada though…)

i feel like this because i just got back from an awesome time at region x region weekend for DZ and now i’m seeing sisters post on the dz tag who were there and now i’m following a bunch of girls who i got to see win awards, play silly games, dance like monkeys, play air guitar, rep dz, and sing/clap/chant.
its crazy to think that i’m a part of such an amazing organization and i wouldn’t choose any other sorority
